"This isn't our first time here: We've consistently had problems getting our luggage to the front of the hotel – and the staff just shrugs. At these prices and with such poor service, you'd expect at least a bit more friendliness. And you have to pay an extra 25 pounds per day for room cleaning. Awful! Otherwise: good location, good room amenities, spacious rooms. But: Give your staff some training in friendliness!"

"The hotel is modest, but beautifully updated and very clean. Our room had a kitchen, laundry facilities, and a very nice bathroom. The bedroom was small, but I’ve seen much smaller in Central London for double the price. Staff were very kind and allowed us to store our luggage for a few hours after checkout so we could do a bit more sightseeing before our flight."

"Hotel was maybe 5/10 enough but the staff are incompetent to the point of fraudulence. I extended my stay online and then staff told me they put the wrong price online so I had to pay the extra £350. I was tired because they had just woken me up to tell me this and I didn’t want to argue so I just did it. I should have just left then and there. The guy at the counter kept asking me to pay for the extended stay, and then when I tried to pay for it, he told me he had to text the manager and kept...

"Staff really friendly throughout our stay. Whole building and room was clean and tidy. A few areas could do with a freshen up, paintwork etc but did not impact our stay. Bed was extremely comfortable and decent pillows. Hot shower with good power. Great location for tube and overground services and plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. Cannot fault anything and would absolutely recommend and stay again."
