"Beautiful hotel however we weren’t aware the pool and outside bar was going to be closed for an event. That was one of the reasons we booked this specific hotel. We wanted to do dinner as well but it was beyond packed. Overall beautiful hotel. "

"The rooms are ok but the pool is very outdated. All the lounge chair are old and stained/dirty. The worst is the main lounge/restaurant. It took so long for someone to bring us water, then we had to wait another 10-15mins for a server to come take our order, then 30mins for the foods to come. And that's early in the morning with no hardly any guest yet. For the price that we pay, it does not meet the luxury standard by any mean. "

"This hotel was so adorable. Beautifully antique. Our room was cozy and the fireplace was warm and inviting. Our view of the ocean from our room was beautiful, and even better from the roof lounge area. Breakfast was lovely. I enjoyed the chia pudding! What a unique and wonderful experience! "

"Staff was great, outdoor seating area was so charming, pool area was nice but we didn't go in. Beds were comfortable. We loved the dining options steps from the hotel, including the Chinese place next door to the 7 Eleven and the Mediterranean place on the other side of Santa Ana ave. We didn't try the on site restaurant, the prices seemed high. I really appreciated the filtered water in the lobby and complimentary coffee. Great price, great experience! "Great hotel very well designed and everything, staff seem entitled had better customer service at a McDonalds. No one greeted me when walking in at all during my entire stay except once from valet. Pretty sure that should be common courtesy from a “4 star” hotel. Had a pretty good interaction with a waiter but other than that I didn’t even wanna interact with the employees. All I can say is great in every way but customer service sucked.😅"

"I enjoyed the marble spa jetted tub in the room. The breakfast semmed like a good idea, at first. I have to realize i need to lower my expecrations when it comes to a free breakfast. The eggs were bland. The potatoes were rubbery, and the sausage tasted off. They had a waffle iron so if you are into that, that would be your best bet. Otherwise, cereal and coffee. "

"The staff was the best thing about the property. The property is in terrible condition. It is so dirty, the pool was closed, there was no breakfast, there were homeless people in the parking lot. Not safe for kids, exposed electrical wires in the rooms. Do not book this hotel, it will ruin your vacation. "

"Breakfast was good, didn't seem like the usual reheated breakfast meals that most hotels have. Pool was amazing, stays heated at 80 degrees. We booked hotel on accident, but turned it to be a nice little trip. Only down side is they charge for parking, not sure why, you would think it's included since nightly rate is not that cheap. Hotel staff was nice, although for some reason some of the female workers seem snappy. Over all nice/clean hotel. "
