The old world charm of the room was awesome. All the conveniences of air con, tv, clean towels daily and the hotel facilities downstairs. Loved our stay.

Nice place to spend a night, shared bathrooms are cleaned and staff is friendly. We stayed during the week for only one night so we didn't have any issues with the noise from the pub downstairs :) it was actually a quiet night :)

Was exactly what you would expect it to be for a pub based hotel ... room was small but adequate for what I needed. Shower and toilet was sperate and shared, annoying but fine for the price. It felt clean and safe. Generally speaking it was pretty good value.

The room was clean and nicely updated. Staff were friendly and check-in easy. Bathroom was roomy and clean. Everything was great apart from the noise. I was expecting it to be a bit noisy until 11 when live music ended but it was quite a bit noisier than I expected. Even once the live music was over it was still quite noisy. I had some earplugs I ended up using. I stayed a Saturday night and had to be up early Sunday morning so I probably should have known better than to stay at a pub.

Very clean and the staff are incredibly nice! Paint coming up in the room but overall a great place and would happily stay again. Make sure you bring white noise for the music and shouting from downstairs!

Very clean and comfortable room. Good location, only 2mins to the bus station. Staffs are friendly, it was an amazing stay. Will come back here again!

Simple, clean, nice, good value.
As advertised. Would be good to have a mini fridge in room but then sometimes I find the buzzing from those annoying during the night anyway. There is a fridge in the quite nice little communal kitchen regardless. Shared bathrooms as advertised, are quite nice, and were very clean. Showers have plenty of space so you don’t need to juggle your belongings. Hooks on the wall in stall to hang up towels, clothes etc. Good showerheads. Comfy bed. Crisp, clean linen. Good curtains to keep out early morning light. I stayed on a Wed night and had no issue with noise. Good aircon, individually controlled and quiet. Great, easy parking out the back of the hotel. For those less mobile I don’t think there was a lift. Easy check in and check out was just a matter of leaving. Food in restaurant downstairs was good. Will likely stay again, particularly when travelling alone for work/appointments etc.

Just there for one night but I enjoyed myself. It was noisy from the band playing until 11 pm but that’s to be expected on a Saturday night! General noise travels a bit to upstairs but again to be expected in an older building.. All in all good and I’d stay there again!

Great value.
Great place to stay on a budget, had everything you need and the shared bathroom was spotless. Room was cosy, only nit pick would be the noise the security key pads make, someone in another room forgot their number so I had to endure half an hour of beeping at 1am while he tried to work it out. Will stay again though.

I liked that there was a basin in the room. I would have preferred a stovetop in the kitchen, not just a microwave.

Close to bus route in to central city, very good restaurant. Only negative was the wifi which was intermittent, sometimes OK but often not available.
