"I booked a single room which was ok. A little tired but obviously, the main rooms with a view possibly being sorted first. The other rooms left early in the morning and left the doors slam which kept me awake from the early hours. Door fixings need to b more gentle when they close. I did ring down to reception but failed to get an answer as I was having trouble with the tv remote. Unable to get the volume increased. I’m sure, in time, all the rooms will b renovated."

"I loved my stay here! Everything about it was perfect - my room was cosy and warm with all the facilities I needed (including a coffee machine!) and a sea view, the food was amazing (I ate here in the evening as well as for breakfast) and staff were friendly and helpful. If the price is right (I got a discounted rate this time due to having some one key credit), I will definitely stay again :)"

"Really enjoyable stay. Hotel and rooms have been modernised and look great, aside from a few creaky floorboards! Very quiet when we stayed (missed the nightclub by one day fortunately). Perfect location for the town, castle, river, etc. Knocked off a mark for service as there's not a lot of staff around, but you can call for help if needed (but we didn't need to as it happened)."
