I always love staying here. They can do early-check in so much earlier than most hotels. Staff are always friendly and the rooms are small but good for the location. I wouldn’t recommend it for more than a night or two stay just because of the size of the rooms and the no elevator issue. When I have short stays it’s perfect!

This is for the traveler who wants to be walking distance to broadway/Times Square action. The room is small, clean, and very basic but very comfortable for a night’s sleep. Food and entertainment choices are plenty outside your door. Coffee and filtered water are available on the basement and 2nd level lounge. No elevator so not recommended for those with mobility issues.

Very good facilities at the price, loved my stay. 2 mins walking distance to Times Square, staff behaviour very good. Keeping bag option available after checkout, if you come early you can spend time at basement where restroom is also available. Free coffee and drinking water.

I really enjoyed staying here. It is a real nice place to stay as a single or couple. Things are basic, and you have to climb stairs. Everything was very recently renovated and was new. It was one of the quietest stays I have had in NYC. Lots of restaurants all over the place within walking distance. (Restaurant row is like one block away)

You can’t beat the location for convenience. It’s clean and the bed is comfy. The room is small but if you do NY right you don’t spend any time in it so who cares that your window is in an airshaft - especially when the room is quiet right off of 8th Ave. You can get hot water for a cup of tea and there’s a little fridge in your room if you need it. You have to carry your bag up the stairs - although you could probably get someone to carry it - and walk up and down the stairs a few flights to your room, so if you are ok with that it’s a nice little place to stay in the thick of midtown.
