"Initial room assigned had not been cleaned, unmade bed, bathroom a mess. After waiting 15 minutes for housekeeping, went back to reception and they assigned a new room - with an upgrade. Would stay again for the ease of an early morning flight."

"We had a very pleasant stay at The New Yorker Hotel. The location was excellent and extremely convenient for getting around the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel and our room were clean and well maintained overall. The only issue we noticed was an unpleasant smell inside the elevators. All of the elevators we used had a similar odor, almost like the smell of towels or cleaning cloths that had not been properly washed or dried. Since everything else in the hotel felt clean and comfortable, this stood out to us and would be something worth improving. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and were very happy with the location, cleanliness, and service."

"Great location. Right in Times Square and walking distance to Rockefeller center, Bryant park, shopping at 5th Ave. The rooms are tiny though and hard to move around. To be expected if you want to stay in the heart of Times Square."
