Loved this hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff and the rooms were so comfortable. It was quiet and cozy inside yet so close to jump on the subway for Manhattan. Also shops and food very close.

My son lives in Brooklyn so I am in the city a lot. The pros of this property are the staff. They are very friendly and helpful. The parking lot right across the street was super nice and reasonably priced. The room was pretty, but unfortunately there were wet stains under the glass of the nightstand. There was a lot of caked on dust in areas of the room. I was a bit surprised. The main disappointment was the heavy pot smoke in the corridor which made its way into my room. It also seemed like it was coming up through the heater as well. I have asthma so any smoke is a problem for me. I did report it and they said that the person will end up being fined, they apologized. I totally understand that some things are beyond the staff's control. The issue for me is that I have stayed in many hotels in Brooklyn and Manhattan and I never had this issue. I does make me question why was it a problem in this particular hotel.

The staff and service was exceptional, as was our on site dining experience. Our room was a bit smaller than expected for the price, but very clean and cozy. Parking, as anywhere in or around NYC was a little inconvenient, although a valet service was available for an extra $60. We still spent $35 for an overnight lot which was affiliated with the hotel, but ended up walking almost 1/4 mile back to the hotel, and waited around 20 minutes for the attendants to retrieve our vehicle the next day. I imagine this is very common for the city, but some type of advance notice when booking would have been much appreciated. Plan ahead!

We stay here frequently as it close walk to our family's apt. Only frustrating issue is the $25 per person per day "resort fee". Really irritating to try to recover it by getting $12 bottles of water and a couple drinks at the bar.

This property is falling a bit short of the Hilton standard. The linens were all in major need of replacement, our sink was bandly clogged and barely drained upon check-in, and the rooms are pretty small for a Hilton branded property. Those are really the only complaints, but it seemed like maybe it should be branded as one of Hilton's lower tier brands. Great location though, and the room was acceptable and pretty clean.
