A/C in the room didn’t work at all. Room temperature was 80-84. A/C cut off multiple times. Called maintenance 4 times. Couldn’t fix. Front staff stated they will reduce room charges as they didn’t have any rooms. They reduced so called convenience fees.( which was not charged to other few rooms in the group anyhow). There are so many choices in NY to stay. This hotel has a good entry garden and landscape vibe BUT hotel is older and not upto standard for the amount of money they charged. Will not recommend to stay here. I do not put the review generally but I felt hotel was far below the expectations.

Each night comes with an additional $43 in junk fees that is not listed on the Expedia price or charges. The pitch is this fee allows for "hotel amenities" like a fitness center. The fitness center is in a musty windowless basement room, no ventilation and rusty/poorly maintained equipment.

Needs to remove the nasty wet carpet in the rooms and improve the aesthetics of the bathroom. No vanity mirror, no counter space, dirty shower stall with dingy shower curtain on a Home Depot shower pole that was crooked which caused the water from the shower to drain into the room and absorb itself into the carpet. Place is pretty disgusting for what the asking rates are.
