I had a wonderful time! This is a hidden oasis in a loud rambunctious city. For an introvert like me it was a perfect spot to recharge away from the exuberance of the city. Read the description carefully! The only two things I will add for future guests is to bring your own water. I do not recommend drinking New Orleans water. I was able to get big gallon jugs at Rouses Market for around $2. Second, be aware that this is an old house with old pipes, so please be patient with the shower. I think two of us were trying to take a shower at the same time, and I got cold water.

Parking on the street was interesting, but didn’t have any issues. Loved the interior and our room. The private bathroom was nice and everything was clean. Our air conditioning worked great for our needs. Only met the housekeeper once, but I liked her very much.

On street parking only but there were spots open close to entrance. This is a small boutique style hotel. No front desk or on-site staff. You let yourself in with a code provided in a text prior to arrival. There is a small kitchen area where you can make a pot of coffee if you like. Room was upstairs. It was small with very small bath but was clean and bed was comfortable. Our room had a portable a/c unit which worked well - not sure if that was due to a/c malfunction, or if it is a permanent set-up. There is a small fridge and nice TV. We would have liked a small chair or stool to sit on and put shoes on, etc. but there isn’t lots of extra room as the bed was king size. Overall we were pleased with the property, it was a great price and they allowed booking just 1 night. We felt safe.

Beautiful place to stay for travelers looking for traditional and quiet New Orleans home. Very historical spacious and clean. Property looked almost identical to photos.Staff provided clear instructions on building and room entrance all amenities were provided. Good for visitors looking for quiet residential place within 10-20 mins walking distance from activities and restaurants and did not disappoint

For the classy room (down stairs) the private bathroom is in the hallway (not in the room). Besides that being a little awkward, the bed was very comfortable, there was plenty of closet space, mini fridge in the room and the curtains definitely kept it nice, dark and cool in the morning!

Mellisa is amazing she made us feel like we where family,cool house old Nola feeling wish we could have stayed longer just a pre cruise night stay. CLose enough to walk to cruise port with luggage it took us 15 minutes

The room was clean yet compact, filled with a king bed. Unfortunately, the window curtained with the air conditioner outlet, to a .The house is lovely. I did not bother with coffee or tea as was unexpected because no milk or cream provided. There was no staff to be seen.

Was never sent check-in information (codes to doors, room information). When we arrived we could not get in. No one responded to multiple calls/voicemails or textx. Waited 35 minutes outside, at night, in the cold waiting for a response. We had to fin another place to stay at 10:30 at night. Now they will not respond about a refund.

The house itself very well remodeled and beatifully ornated,however there is no full house air-conditioning.The unit we had in our room was very loud.If you go in the summer it could be hot! There is no bkackout curtains,so you will be woken up every morning with light and street noise. There is a kitchen and cofee,vut no kitchenware.Ypu will have small fridge in the room. The worst thing,another barhroom didn’t work and the costumer service wasn't reachable for5 hours! They shut down the wayer finally at midnigt and after l9ng day we couldn't get a shower and our romantic night was ruined. Wouldn't stay again .

Definitely was not what we were expecting, stated private bathroom, which by our understanding was going to be a bathroom in the room, which is not at all what the case was. In fact we were so disappointed in the the whole place, as it was is. . We didnt even end up staying, i know we had until dec31 to cancel and shpukd have. But instead we decided to go stay somewhere else. Didnr bother trying to get our money back. Very disappointing

Overall I would recommend our stay for what it was. The main factor we stayed here was price point, location, and parking. You are able to park right in front of the house, it is an affordable price point, and is located close enough to the French quarter. You get what you pay for though. It’s not in a great area. There are allot of homeless people, run down buildings, and sketchy people nearby. If you are a young woman I would not recommend walking alone at night. There are some good places to eat nearby and it is close to the street car that will take you to the French quarter. There’s also a bus but I wouldn’t recommend taking that. The staff was nice. Melissa greeted us and gave us good recommendations. She was very kind. But don’t expect to see the staff much of your visit if at all. To get inside the house and rooms there’s codes you enter into a keypad. The room was clean but it’s a shared house. You’re door to door with people so you can hear all their business. The bathrooms are private but are outside the room so it’s a bit inconvenient. The rooms were clean and bed nice but the house smelt like there was water damage in the walls. There is also no where to fill up water on the property. There is a fridge inside the room and microwave in the kitchen. For what the place is, it’s a place to crash that’s affordable. If you want to do anything other than sleep and shower or want to be in a nicer part of town, I’d look elsewhere. Overall it’s good value I’d say.
