"We were in Europe for 5 weeks. We stayed here for just one night before we flew back to the USA because of its location to the airport. We regretted we had not stayed here for the time we spent in Munich. The hotel was pristine. We appreciated the split bathrooms and the size of the room. It was large enough to accommodate a sofa. The restaurant was wonderful. The service was great and the food was delicious. We had an early flight. If not, we would have taken advantage of the breakfast...

"The hotel is in a great location and has great air conditioning which is a pretty big deal when it’s 90 degrees in Munich in May! Some of the staff were wonderful, some less so. Room was clean and bathroom large. Breakfast very nice. One elevator was down due to construction - totally get it but we mostly had to use the stairs because it would take too long to arrive or elevators full. Just an inconvenience. Overall good stay and we would recommend."

Our stay at Sofitel Munich Bayerpost was pleasant enough, but overall somewhat disappointing given the hotel’s reputation, five-star status and premium pricing.

"Eine tolle Unterkunft vor den Toren von München.
Das Hotel bietet ein tolles Ambiente und man fühlt sich sofort wohl.
Die Zimmer sind stylisch und es ist alles da was man braucht. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Dachterrasse mit Blick über München. Bei gutem Wetter konnten wir sogar die Alpen sehen.
Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Find es allerdings etwas schräg, dass überwiegend Englisch gesprochen wird. Für uns kein Problem aber meine Mutter hätte wahrscheinlich Probleme gehabt.

"The room assignment was disappointed.
I booked a Premium room, hoping for more space than the Superior Rooms and have a accent chair and table. However I was assigned a Family Room with 2 twin beds + a double bed but with no accent chair table. The Family Room might be priced more expensive but it is a DOWNGRADE for me. I cannot make use of the extra bed. I have no chair and have to sit on the bed for TV and relax.
