"Clean, comfortable, well maintained. Front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again, for me most comfortable hotel stay ever in Europe"

"Had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again! Clean rooms, well appointed and kind staff at check in. Be aware it's a small hotel - you will need to carry your bags up a flight of stairs if on the upper level. My only negative is that the walls are quite thin. While it was actually very quiet, I was able to hear people talking next door, and I could hear the shower next door on both sides as well. Great little hotel!"

"Property is in a beautiful area of Leiden. The staff was exceptional - friendly and helpful. Enjoyed my time there. "

"Very comfortable bed and air conditioning which was very nice for an unusually hot day. Nice breakfast."

"Dirk who welcomed us could not have been more friendly and helpful...he was superb 👍 The accommodation was clean, warm and spacious. The loft apartment suited out family dynamic of two adults and one teenage son perfectly. Can not speak highly enough of our whole experience staying here. 🙂"

"Great stay. The hotel is well located. Rooms are pristine. And breakfast is very good"

"Right in the center of town could not be a better location."

"A great place, close to Leiden station, which is also a super lovely place to visit, or even stay when hoping to also see Amsterdam. A modern hotel close to many great restaurants - some with worthy specials (try Parkhuis!) and interesting sights to see. Would totally recommend!"

"Location was perfect and the staff was so friendly. Beds were comfy!"

"Great location! 10 min walk from the train station, close enough to the action but not in the middle of it. Would definitely stay here again."

"Clean comfortable hotel, good location and quiet"

"We stayed at Bastion, Oegstgeest for 7 nights, spending most of the time with family, living locally. Staff were friendly and cooperative and the facilities adequate. We didn’t need to eat or drink at the hotel but both provisions are available."

"Good rooms however not entirely clean. Nice terrace and the staff were very nice"
