Rooms are spacious, with antique and modern charm combined. We normally stay at 5-star hotels with lots of amenities and services - this is not that! More of a 5-star B&B, which was perfect for what we wanted in Leiden. Be warned that the upper floor rooms require climbing very steep and narrow stairs, which would not be good for people with...

"Top shelf! We booked last minute as we weren’t sure where we would end up on our roadtrip. Our room-with three beds as requested-was ready when we walked in. The room itself was lovely-well appointed and very comfortable. The balcony was also really nice. The on site restaurant is wonderful and ending our evening with drinks on the canal was perfect. We added breakfast and it was fantastic. We will absolutely stay again!"

"Schönes Hotel. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Eingezäunter Hoteleigener Parkplatz war großzügig. Zu Fuß sind diverse schöne Parkanlagen zu erreichen. Mit dem Auto ist der Strand in 15 min zu erreichen. Tagesticket Parkhaus direkt am Strand 10€ (07.25)."

"Excellent stay at the apartment. We were a group of 9 middle-aged male cyclists and the location and facilities were ideal for our purposes. The apartment was well equipped and the 'party room' downstairs served as an excellent bike store and communal area. The host was very friendly and helpful and certainly added to an enjoyable stay."
