Very busy downtown traffic location.
The most important thing is to mention that the lobby is on the 4th floor! This is inconvenient with luggage. The staff is pleasant, but it should also be mentioned that they are not open 24/7. Also the nearest parking is blocks away.

It was fairly easy to get to by bus and Metro. But I only had one small bag, I wouldn't recommend doing this with big luggage. It cost 5 euro for the bus to the train station/metro station then 1.20 euro for the Metro. It's a 2-3 minute walk from the station. The guy downstairs of the building is rude, but managed to get him to tell me where to go. This place is on the 4th floor and it's confusing because there is another Bovio suited on the 2nd floor. The older housekeeper lady is just incredibly lovely and sweet, she let me dropp off my bag to store until check in. She doesn't speak much English but she's just a legend, badass I loved her! Stayed here for one night with my friend, requested 2 beds got two beds but one was a baby twin bed and the other a full/queen. The rooms are outdated, beds are springy and hard. The room had a cool big old window it had Air-conditioning. It was clean but I found hairs on the shower wall, a towel hook was barley hanging on and things just seemed used and abused. The keys were oldschool skeleton keys. There is an elevator. Good enough for one night and if you're not too picky. Overall it's in a great location, walking distance from the Spanish quarter. There's plenty of cafe's to grab something to eat and drink around.

The hotel was difficult to find as it is has no sign out of the front so took quite a while on the phone to find it’s location inside a large complex. We arrived around 10pm and we had failed to see there was an additional charge which was very unexpected as we don’t deem 10pm a late check in for a hotel. Once inside the room was nice and comfortable. Location was brilliant

It's a lovely place to stay, small and friendly, excellent service. Quiet for a location in a busy square. Felt safe and secure. Mastri Pizza is a good place to eat, good service and value for money.

Great Locarion
The location of this hotel was perfect. The breakfast was small but still great. They even held our bags for us while we explored for a few hours before departure. Great bars, restaurant and shopping near by.

Clean stay in a nice central location. Breakfast was satisfactory. However, front office staff weren't particularly friendly and their card reader didn't work forcing us to pay cash. Shower drain was slow and staff did not attempt to fix it when requested. Traffic circle below was quite loud in the room and it was the first double bed we stayed in that was two twin mattresses pushed together, not great for a honeymoon.

Dear Mr. Jason, You took a economy room at the discounting price. We gave you a upgrade in Superior room. In the structure you paid only city tax of € 8,00. Usualy la tourist tax must be paid cash. When you gone, you did not hand over the keys, it was a problem for us because you brought with you the keys to the safe( it's just those) and all the keys. You sent us the keys, but we had the problem for 3 days with other guests. Your shower worked perfectly and the staff welcomed and assisted you very well. Best Regards Bovio Suite Manager

Perfect if you do not mind noise!
the location is great, the staff in the hotel were really nice and professional, the room was big but it has a very bad smell coming from the bathroom so it was not very comfortable. The hotel is very noise, you can hear absolutely everything even if you are far from reception and from other rooms, even if other guests is taken a shower or they are flushing the toilet. If you want a quite room, please avoid this place. The windows are not very well isolated but this was not a problem as the temperature in the room was OK. Breakfast was OK.

This place is very unique. We usually stay at 4 to 5 star hotel, it was last minute booking and I was suspicious about this place. But it turned out the location is great, the apartment is very clean, the only problem is too to find and a bit noisy since it is in the center of the city.

Nice hotel, pleasant staff, a bit noisy
The hotel was nice in a great location and the staff were very helpful. The only issue we had was that our room was next to reception so we heard the people checking-in, people coming and going (late at night), and the intercom. Also the mini bar made was annoying due to the noise it made. However, this did not ruin our trip.

discovered Napoli, Pompei and Capri island. The hotel is closed to the port, a kilometer away from the station and very central. Very little english or french spoken by staff, a noisy night due to a car alarm that went off all night were the cons, but a beautiful small hotel, clean and modren

The location is good close to the metro station but it is hard to find since there is no signage there. Wifi weak, city tax euro 4.5/ppl, even expensive than rome. The keys the owner gave us are not working, we were forced to keep our room door close but not locked.

A really good place to stay. The price was reasonable and location was great. Staff were very courteous, but very limited english. The hotel is very difficult to find, it took us three tries even after we got through the massive front doors. To buzz the hotel, its in esplada A, fourth floor. Towards the top and left on the chart outside the door. (I cant remember exactly) We got lucky and someone was coming out, so we tried to find it without buzzing up. Having to carry around giant keys to get in after 9pm was kind of a bummer. The WiFi doesnt work in room 4, but we just went to the couch in the dinning area. Nice balcony to watch the traffic and people show below from. Has a small grocery shop right around the corner, same building. Breakfast could be a bit better, but it still was pretty tasty. Overall we would stay there again. Great people and a great location to go explore Napoli.

Simplistic, clean, refreshing and perfectly located near Universita metro. Easily walkable back from most central locations once the Metro stops working. Check out was 11am but we got refused tea when we left for the airport at 3pm. Shame otherswise a very comfortable stay

Great location, but noisy!
Well located hotel for port for boat trips to Capri and quirky bus trip to Pompeii and Versuvius and right next to metro for easy transfer from station. Difficult to find on Sunday or in evening, as no exterior signage, so make sure you have an accurate map and look for the tiny sign amongst many others adjacent to a large wooden door - it's on the 4th floor. Only downside is the traffic noise which is incessant, day and night, if you are overlooking the roundabout.

This property is not smoke free, it is also not accessible- steps required to enter. Security in this area of Naples is important and the fact that hotel or building staff are not present after 9 or 10 pm is a draw back. Good for young people traveling in a group.

Stayed in 10 hotels on our 5th trip to Europe and this was the MOST DIFFICULT hotel to find EVER. Lots of potential but killed by difficult to find, difficult staff, poor breakfast and hard to use keys. If you have never stayed here then don't book!!!!! Otherwise reasonable value. Need to put a detailed map on their website - current map is next to hopeless. I though this was as neat challenge but even 5 local did not know where it was. I will draw up a proper map if they ask me to.

Little bit confusing to find the hotel at first. It is right on the roundabout, not further down the street as we initialy thought and there is no external signage. Room was fine with everything we needed and staff helpful when asked for info about directions and calling taxi for trip to airport. Breakfast was not amazing although staff went to extra trouble to make me a yummy hot chocolate!

Charming surprise
We arrived in Napoli via high-speed train from Rome, which we recommend wholeheartedly. The staff was gracious and the room was quaint. The best aspect is the location with a grand view from the balcony of the breakfast room. BTW, breakfast was simple but good. We walked to the centro storico and to the Castello Nuovo. In addition, the incredible Trattoria Mangi e Bevi where we had a 3-course lunch with wine all for 10 Euros per person, is just around the corner! The city was a pleasant surprise, albeit our first night was spent on darkened streets due to non-functioning street lights. This place is definitely not your average tourist hotel, but rather a small pensione-type lodging within a large multi-purpose building.

What can i say?
There is no way to know that this is even a hotel from the outside, no sign, no anything! Its in a somewhat shady area of town. If I hadn't of found a very nice older man that was coming out of the building to ring me in I think I would of just keep walking in circles around the building. I saw the number, but that was it. The staff, and I use that word loosely because this is a family run business, speaks little to no English. They had no reservation for me, so that was a whole nother issue. Other then that, the bed was comfortable, the rooms were very clean and they had amazing water pressure.

Great little B & B
I have to agree with other reviewers that this B & B is difficult to find, as it has no sign outside and the building numbers on the square appear to be quite random. That said its definitely a great place to stay, five minutes walk from where the bus from the airport stops and about ten minutes walk away from the old town.The rooms are spacious and furnished with lovely old furniture. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms have a shower and hairdryer. Breakfast is served in a little breakfast room which also doubles up as reception. This room has a brilliant view over the square which appears to always be manic with traffic! For this reason we asked for a quiet room, which we did receive, this overlooked an internal courtyard with a small balcony. Breakfast is a simple affair, with yogourt, croissants, juice and coffee, perfectly adequate and sets you up for a days sightseeing. I would recommend this hotel if staying in Naples, although we found Naples to be an incredibly dirty city, with litter everywhere. A shame really as it could be such a lovely place if tidied up a bit.

Melina (general manager) and the rest of the staff members were extremely helpful, caring and friendly. Since it was my first trip to Italy, the warmth of their welcome set the tone for the rest of my trip. The hotel is situated walkable distance to Napoli Centrale and many other tourist destinations including Pizzeria Da Michele. I got a quiet room, overlooking the inner courtyard so I didn’t experience any issues with noise. The room was spacious, classic, tasteful and very clean. Next time I come back to Naples, I will definitely stay at Bovio Suite again!

Really Feel Naples
This is a very good deal in an ideal part of town. The rooms are quite spacious and impeccable, with great size bathrooms, and the shower pressure, exquisite. Our room overlooked Plaza Bovio and its surrounding chaos, and was one of the highlights of our stay: Looking out of the old structured building and into the traffic and the gorgeous architecture of the buildings in front truly synthesize the rhythm of the city, its soul. It is close to the port, the center attractions, and the staff are quite helpful. There is a great pizza place right across from the plaza as well and the walk to Central Station, about 20 minutes, while seemingly frightening, must be experienced. Be ready to fight for your dollar with the cab drivers.

We should have stayed longer!
We were moving around Italy and came back to Naples to stay our last night before the airport the next morning. WE LOVED THIS HOTEL. An elevator up to the 4th floor (but there are a dozen more steps up to hotel front door), secure, great location close to port, 20 mins to airport and old-world charm with updated amenities. Lovely decor, friendly staff, great shower and one of the BEST A/C units we had over 2 weeks!!!! It was the first time we were truly cool all through the vacation. This is in a business district, so perfectly fine by day, and considering that some Naples neighborhoods can get surley at night, we still walked to dinner on the Plaza at dark and felt fine. Only real issue is the hotel was a bit hard to find. We walked from the port and dragged our stuff about 20 mins to the Plaza where the hotel sits. No signage, everyone we asked couldn't tell us where it was, but after one of us walked around each street fronting the Plaza, we finally found the No.22 and got buzzed in. Also- ask them to call you a cab when you're leaving. When a hotel calls, it's set at only 19 euro. We would definitely come back here!!!

Awesome! For the price this is an amazing deal. You stay in a former castle with marble stair cases and flours . The free breakfast is basic and but with free wifi and just a 10 euro ride from the trainstation (or take Bus R 2 and get off at bovio plaza). It isn't a 5 start hotel- it is a good price and a decent location next to the waterfront.

The hotel staff was gracious, helpful, and attentive. The continental breakfast consisted of meats, cheese, breads, yogurt, and juice. The location is very good with great views of the sea, the coast, and the town.
