"The cosy room we had was certainly that, with the double bed against the wall, although there was a cupboard for hanging clothes and plenty of drawers. The ensuite was very small, and would have been better with more than 1 hook for towels. Shower worked well and area was clean. Tea and coffee facilities in room good. Breakfast offering was plentiful and well cooked. Good to have fresh porridge available every day, and haggis in the hot offerings. Pastries and fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereals, so everything you could want.
Plenty of car parking, and the hotel is convenient for a base while doing some local walks, though we drove to the local lochs and Cairngorms carparks to set off."
"Excellent well-equipped ensuite room, very clean and very quiet . The hotel has a good bar and restaurant. I haven't used the restaurant but it was large and busy. The hotel is located in the town centre so is very convenient for local amenities and attractions.

"I would recommend this place again and again. The owners had recently taken over and it was a truly fantastic experience. The grounds are beautiful, very convenient to the beach, and the rooms are huge. The only note I would add is that there's no lift/elevator so be prepared for the possibility of walking some rather narrow stairs. That said, breakfast is menu based and delicious, the family that runs the facility is absolutely the kindest, and I plan to return here in the future and see what kind of amazing changes they make. 10/10"
"The room was beautiful. Had a nice meal in the bar and the bartender gave my friend and me a great recommendation for some delicious Scottish whiskey from their hometown."
"We were here on vacation. The location was great, right by the river. The restaurant was good (they seem to dry-age their beef themselves). Staff very helpful, facility very clean. Only drawback, no elevator (which was only an issue with luggage, but staff offered to carry bags up for us). We'd happily come back."
