"It should be noted that the staff at Guest level are wonderful, but here is a big warning if you have any challenges do not expect management to help in anyway they need classes and customer relations. Honestly, Rixos should be embarrassed at how they treat their guests from a managerial standpoint. My wife was victim of a racial profiling challenge and never once did she receive a” I am sorry” from the desk person instead, I had to listen to the manager, trying to explain or justify what happened, which was really not appropriate, on top of that the next day I got a text reminding me of their position, which was also extremely inappropriate. again, I feel very sorry for all of the people that work hard every day to provide a great experience at the resort, but they are truly being let down by the management staff."

"Hello, The hotel was decent, but definitely not a 9/10 as suggested by the recent Google and Hotels.com ratings. If you want to swim in the sea, it’s quite difficult. You can walk hundreds of meters without the water going above knee level, and then suddenly it becomes very deep with waves. On top of that, it was extremely windy—we couldn’t even sit on the balcony facing the beach, despite the amazing view, which was actually the best part of our holiday. The food quality and variety were around 6/10 or 7/10 at best. The salad greens were not cleaned properly and often had dust and dirt on them. The alcoholic drink selection was very poor, and they were serving drinks in old blue acrylic cups at the pool and beach bars, which didn’t feel hygienic. There was only one beer brand available (an Egyptian brand, which was actually a decent lager), and they didn’t seem to have bartenders, so the cocktail menu was very limited and the quality was poor. The cleanliness of the beach, room, pool, and common areas was fine. There were some shops and markets on the property, but the sellers felt dishonest and overpriced. The security staff at the main gate asked for room numbers every time we entered or left the hotel, whether by car or on foot. Supposedly this was for record-keeping, but it felt uncomfortable and insecure to have hotel staff know exactly when we were or weren’t in the room. That should remain private. Overall, I would rate the hotel around 6/10 or 7/10 at most."

"I had an overall very enjoyable stay at this hotel. What really stood out was the staff – everyone puts in a lot of effort and is consistently friendly and welcoming. There were a few misunderstandings during check-in at the beginning, but the team did everything they could to make up for it, which I really appreciated. The food was also a big plus. The buffet offers a huge variety, and you can tell they make an effort to bring in a bit of variation every day. We stayed in a swim-up room, which was definitely a highlight. Having direct access to a small private pool right in front of the room was amazing. The beach is also great – perfect for swimming and even snorkeling. They really take care about the garden its absolutely beautiful! The only downside was the situation with the sunbeds. If you go to the beach around 11 a.m., it can be quite difficult to find a spot. Many guests reserve their sunbeds early in the morning, and overall there don’t seem to be enough loungers and umbrellas. That said, the price-performance ratio is absolutely fair. It’s not the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in, but for what you pay and what you get, it’s definitely good value for money."

"We have stayed at Faraana several times before and have always had excellent service. The ongoing maintenance is very noticeable keeping up their high standards. Food is a good balance. We will certainly be returning in the near future. A big thank you to all the reception staff who remembered us straight away which was very much appreciated "
