"Das Luganodante ist absolut zu empfehlen und liegt direkt am Ausgang der Standseilbahn - also perfekt für einen Aufenthalt in Lugano, wenn man mit dem Zug anreist. Das Hotel ist modern und neu eingerichtet und zumindest unser Zimmer (Suite) hatte eine grandiose AirCondition! Das Personal ist toll und sehr hilfsbereit. Was wirklich großartig war: Das Frühstück. So ein umfangreiches und vor allem hochwertiges und leckeres Buffet haben wir selten erlebt. Ganz toll!"

"A hard review to write. I gave 5 stars in most areas. The service and the overall property was excellent but for the price we had some issues. The KEY to the room is a huge pain! You only get one key and if you lose it there is a $1000 Swiss franc fee to replace it and a minimum 3 hour wait. Two doors to go through so it is very inconvenient. While the room we had was very large with a bedroom plus a large kitchen/living space with two patios there was only one TV in the living room! No bedroom...

"The room was spacious and beautiful, offering a stunning view. Breakfast was excellent. The dinner service was wonderful with an equally amazing view, just the food is not the best. However, given that it was included in the half-board rate, it was perfectly acceptable. A quick tip: the train station is only a two-minute walk away, but be sure to ask the front desk for directions, instead of following Google Maps."

"We were very fortunate to have a room in the front with a wonderful lake view. The hotel is comfortable older property, but the room and bathroom were large and spotless. Location is excellent, right next to the bus stop close to the town. Restaurant is excellent. Only negative is the absence of a grab bar in the bathtub/shower."
