"Very cute - right on the Lake- gorgeous views- ICE machine in the Lobby. Swimming pool was gorgeous! Very walk able- little train travels around the village- great for orientation. There is a local bus that will take you from the train station- CABS ARE VERY EXPENSIVE- english speaking- Do not expect a normal wine pour-😢😢-2 fingers of wine is 15$- buy a bottle instead. High end shopping in the vicinity. Women alone diners are second class- Do not let them rush you. 😡"

"We stayed at Federale Lugano for 2 nights. It is very close to the train station, and easy to get to by taking Funicular from the train station to Cathedral stop. Room wasn’t big but very comfortable and clean, bathroom was really small but it didn’t bother us. Best part was the staff - very nice and kind, always smiling. Breakfast was very good - juice, coffee, eggs, yogurt, fresh bread etc. We also had dinner at their restaurant and enjoyed the food and service. Will be willing to stay there...

"Easily one of the most incredible hotel experiences I’ve ever had! Expensive, yes, worth it, absolutely! We arrived from Milan a lot earlier than the check in window, and they offered to hold our bags, gave us an tour of all of the amenities the hotel had to offer, and give us a complimentary car to drive ourselves to the city center while we waited for our room. "We had a great stay. We were warmly greeted when we arrived. It was a cute little apartment centrally located. Good location clean comfortable bed and very quiet. The staff was very helpful and we will definitely stay here next time we come to Lugano. "
