"The rooms were exceptionally clean, updated and fresh. The staff were super helpful and went the extra mile to solve our requests. We loved the room. Don't be deceived by the outside gravel parking as the room # 6 was wonderful. Highly recommend."

"The Sun Central Motel was good value for money with a lovely cooked breakfast. The owner kindly gave us a car lift to the station - the only draw back is the long walk to and from there is one did not arrive in a car."

"2 night stay. We called ahead knowing we would arrive out of office hours. Owner advised would leave key in room and door unlocked. Reception was locked upon arrival. No milk provided in fridge, but there was tea and coffee, so no morning cuppa could be had after a big night. Note in bathroom says leave towels in shower if you want them changed, so we did and went out for the day. Upon return in the afternoon, the room had not been cleaned and towels were still wet in the...

"Location - great!! Walking distance to everything. But - The noise in room # 1 was so bad... Between the constant road noise and very loud water system noises that happened at least every half hour all through the night waking us all up every time - it was a restless stay, especially for the price. Old fashioned and retro style room, clean beds, some things were good, some things weren't.. It was okay. But we wouldn't stay again, at least not in this room."

"Is pet friendly tho was per pet not per room and was $45 per pet as they are medium size not a teacup... the water pipes and air-conditioning/heater was so very noisy, can hear the people in the next room. Not the best sleep"
