The staff was very friendly and pleasant. The rooms and restrooms were very clean. The furniture is dated but in good condition. Very nice roomy suites. Great place to stay for the price

The gentleman that was not wearing a name badge upon arrival was not very friendly and acted like job was a burden. When I asked about the coffee/ice cream they had for free he acted like it was a stupid question that I was just verifying about. Then he told me options for continental breakfast in low smart sorta smart aleck voice that I repeated to make sure I was correct. He just acted like it was putting him out to have to respond. I am a nice friendly person and he was probably one of the worst I've ever been greeted if you call greeted at a hotel. Hotel inside was clean but super dated like early 1980 decor, old worn out red carpet, ugly wall paper, musty moldy smell in room and towels in room seem about that old as well. Only positive is it was clean and quite.

Good value considering getting a suite for the price of a standard hotel room. Sufficient room to move around. However, while bathroom and wipeable areas were clean, the carpet and fabric-based furniture are in need of a good deep cleaning. Multiple stains. Beds OK but pillows tired and need to be replaced. Hotel offers "breakfast", but the choices were either a frozen breakfast burrito or 4 mini-donuts per person.

Hidden gem on highway 4
My favorite place to stay when visiting Murphys/Arnold and Bear Valley/Lake Alpine. Amazing amenities like pool/Jacuzzi, micro gym and dry sauna. Not to mention the complimentary breakfast consisting of burrito or fresh made donuts. And all day treats from their soft serve machine.

Although it is next to highway 4, the noise level is minimum at night. We stayed on the second floor. The staff at the front desk are helpful. All rooms face an internal corridor, rather than outside. The room is big. In addition, they offer free ice cream, small donuts and orange juice, not breakfast though. Running in early morning, I feel safe. Plan to stay next time in town.

Nice hotel with a hot tub and free soft serve.
Murphys Suites was a great little hotel to stay in for our family ski trip. Having a hot tub was a huge plus. The staff were kind and welcoming. My daughter loved the free soft serve ice cream.

This was a fantastic find! Due to a power outage at our cabin, I had to find lodging on a cold night, and Murphys Suites was just the place. The two room suite is an incredible value, with a microwave, fridge, warm shower and extra blankets. All of the staff I encountered were very warm and friendly. And they even delivered a breakfast burrito outside of my room! Parking is also very convenient, right outside of the building. Excellent experience here.

The front desk staff was so wonderful, he opened the sauna early for us and made us delicious coffee. Great spacious room, comfortable bed, and handmade donuts delivered for breakfast!

The staff is very nice and tries to be accommodating. The room was adequate, old linens with pillows that were stained and extremely uncomfortable in that they were compacted and hard. It was pretty quiet and not much street noise which was wonderful.
