"Fantastisk beliggenhet , hyggelig personale og en rolig atmosfære. Kort vei til landsby, med lokal mat og mye interessant å se. Fiskerne kommer i land grytidlig og har auksjon på morgenen. Vi bestilte halvpensjon (half board) og det var lønnsomt økonomisk. Super frokost! "

"The hotel is not nearly as beautiful as it is in the pictures. I am sure it was amazing 5 years ago but it has fallen into a bad state of disrepair. A colony of bats made a home inside and leave their droppings all over the hallway and in room #4 if you are lucky to get that one. Room #1 smelled of raw sewage. However, the wifi is blazing fast and works all over the property and beach. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. I just wish the owners would invest a little in repairs and clean out...

"We had a lovely stay at this charming hotel. Its in a good location, and right on the beach making it easy to explore the local attractions, take boat trips and visit the nearby village. The staff were all really helpful, attentive and friendly. The pool and grounds are well maintained and the rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. "Relaxed beyond words during our stay @ Blue Reef. This place is a vibe…chill. Luxuries abound in our rooms (we stayed in the apartment). The grounds were quite overgrown and unkempt, and the rooms while tidy, had poor finishing particularly with respect painting, where there was paint all over everything. The timber shutters on the terrace doors were broken, one set didn't close at the bottom. The wifi was very unstable through the property, and could not maintain a connection. "My wife and I were on our honeymoon, and this is an absolutely beautiful place for exactly that! We were treated so well — they took great care of us, and everything we asked for was no problem; they fixed it right away. The place was clean, peaceful, and the generator worked very well (incredibly important in Jambiani since the power goes out all the time). We are super satisfied!!
