"We had the most amazing honeymoon stay at Kwanza Resort! ❤️ From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect and made our honeymoon so special and memorable. The resort was beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the service was exceptional. All the staff were so kind, welcoming and attentive, always making sure we were comfortable and well looked after. Their warmth and hospitality really made a difference to our experience. A special mention to the beautiful honeymoon and birthday decorations! 🥹❤️ They were so pretty and thoughtfully done, making our stay feel even more special. It was such a lovely touch and made our celebrations extra memorable. As someone who is vegetarian, I was especially pleased with the variety of vegan and vegetarian food options available. There was a great selection of delicious food, and it was wonderful to have options to enjoy throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate the beginning of our married life together. Thank you to the entire Kwanza Resort team for making our honeymoon so unforgettable. "An absolute gem — Kizikula was one of the highlights of our trip and easily one of the best boutique hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Our room was stunning, beautifully designed, and filled with thoughtful little details. Everything was impeccably clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. You can really feel the care that has gone into every aspect of the property. The staff were exceptional — warm, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful. They went above and beyond throughout our stay, and no request ever felt like too much. The food was another standout. Every meal we had was absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. We were genuinely impressed by the quality. The property itself feels like a private oasis. We loved being in a quieter part of Zanzibar, away from the busier areas, and the sunset views were incredible. It’s the kind of place where you can completely switch off and relax. We’ve stayed at many beautiful boutique hotels around the world, and Kizikula truly stands out. It feels intimate, special, and incredibly well considered. We would return in a heartbeat and can’t recommend it highly enough."

"We had a lovely stay at this charming hotel. Its in a good location, and right on the beach making it easy to explore the local attractions, take boat trips and visit the nearby village. The staff were all really helpful, attentive and friendly. The pool and grounds are well maintained and the rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. The delicious food was fresh, locally sourced and plentiful - we sampled it all. We particularly enjoyed the floating breakfast on our last morning. Entertainment was good too, and was delivered with enthusiasm. A particular highlight for us was the African evening, the fire eating was seriously impressive! The team clearly work well together to create a relaxed, uncomplicated atmosphere for their guests, we felt very much at home. Highly recommended."
