"We absolutely loved our stay here and honestly wished we had booked for longer. From the minute we arrived, we felt so well taken care of. Mel was fantastic and made such a strong impression with how warm, helpful, and attentive she was. We were travelling with our dog, and this place really goes above and beyond. The grounds were beautiful and perfect to enjoy with a pooch, and we were so impressed by the thoughtful touches like the dog menu, the welcome package for our dog, and a lovely treat...

"The room is a nice size, clean, but very very dated, the shower was in the bath and not very good. The hotel itself is located not far from Stansted airport and it's the only reason I would consider booking again. The parking at the hotel is very poor and pretty much a free for all but the car park next door is free between 6pm to 8am with proper painted bays where people park rather than just abandon their cars. All in all it was an ok choice of a place to stay for an early flight but I doubt...

"Friendly helpful staff, lovely little room, comfortable bed. The bathroom is not the greatest as water pressure was very low to have a nice shower. Sink was blocked, water didn't flow down as the plug was stuck. Not tried breakfast or any food not had time for that. Quite a few eating places around the lodge. Other than the bathroom, it's great for few nights stay, would still chose it again."
