"The price was ok i guess, but like most rooms in hotels in Europe this was the size of a walk in closet. Only place to open a suitcase was on the bed. The owner or manager was “indifferent” and for a b&b the breakfast was a total joke. Instant coffee?? Only hot option was instant oatmeal. This might have farmland years ago, so i guess a quaint name will have to suffice"

"We needed a night, close by as attending a family wedding and the cricketers was in the perfect location. The pub is fab and foods excellent, accommodation was as expected."

"Extremely personable landlord, Craig. Room was prepared ready for us to check in early (off to a wedding after a long drive) and sandwiches provided on request which was very much appreciated. The room and bathroom were spacious and nicely decorated and the bed very comfortable. Little communal kitchen area provided everything needed for a late night snack and breakfast which was a nice touch. Heard from local friends at the wedding that the food is great too. "Booked for long weekend with family. Check in was at 3pm but had to wait 2.5 for rooms to be cleaned and got access to rooms at 5:30pm. No drinks from bar no compensation offered (complained and got it later), staff were very unhelpful. Delay completely ruined break. They offered a late checkout next day as compensation so we thought we would use the pool to find that children are not allowed in the pool until late afternoon to allow club members to use the pool, awesome.
