"Unfortunately, the room temperature was hot beyond any reasonable level. Being British and living in an old home here in the UK I understand how hot upper level rooms can get in the extreme heat and was expecting the temperature to be excessive. The actual temperature was beyond extreme and the fan provided did not oscillate and was extremely noisy. "Perfect place to stay overnight before a flight from Stansted. Lots of choice for your help yourself breakfast. Wasn’t made aware that you could leave your car there and take a taxi to the airport. Would have definitely saved some money. Maybe this could be highlighted more."

"Room was not cleaned for the 2 nights we were there even after requesting. The walls were dirty as well. I was told by staff she would try and clean the room. Needless to say. We had 2 rooms booked neither was cleaned. Cleaning your surrounding property would also help with the perception of your Days Inn. I have never seen one so run down."

"The property is also conveniently located, just about a 10-minute walk from Harlow Station. The room was clean, well maintained, and nicely decorated, making it a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. I would definitely recommend it."

"Just a one nights stay at the Kicking Dicky before a flight out of Stansted, which was chosen for it's ideal location and at a better value than the generic hotels. No issues with the room which is external to the pub, so was nice and quiet. The food was decent with a good selection a beers. Overall a nice find and would be happy to stay again."

"We chose an inside room, hoping for a dark night, but found out later there was a skylight in the ceiling, which was bright all night long, eye masks were provided. Because the room was windowless there was no airflow, there was a fan on the bedside table, but room was rather hot and stuffy. The beds were just OK. The food at the restaurant was mediocre. Service was great! The grounds were beautiful. Would stay again in a different room."
