"Was in the area on business. Nice, clean, decent sized room and en-suite shower room. Friendly welcoming staff. Only had breakfast in the restaurant so can’t comment on evening food but my full English breakfast was lovely. Only very minor downside is the lack of on site customer parking but I used a local car park across the road which was free overnight and reasonable rates at other times. Would come back again"

"There was a kettle with green , berry & fruit tea but no actual tea or coffee .Not as advertised. The shower head was broken with water pouring out of the side. The shower head drooped over not above as it should . It was a hassle to try to screw it back on.Trying to shower while holding it. The temperature control was difficult to set. It was scalding hot then the hot water ran out after a few minutes. I had to rinse off and wash my hair in the small wash basin that did have hot water. The...

"Rude staff"

"Clean, spacious & comfortable room. Warm and friendly welcome, delicious breakfast with excellent choices. The only negative was the shower (room 575). It had very little water pressure and no hot water, pretty much unusable. As a solo traveller it wasn’t the end of the world but couples and families may have struggled. "

"What a surprising airport hotel. I did not expect it. The room was very spacious. Surprisingly big really. The bathroom was rather contemporary and clean. Room was quiet. The shuttle to the airport goes around the clock (or at least when I needed it for a small fee). I won definitely recommend this hotel. "

"Only two reasons for not getting 5 stars; no plug sockets by the bed… why? Had to charge my phone across the room. They had USB sockets but not all devises use USB! The second reason is the shuttle is £4 each way… I think that’s too much. Apart from these things though, great hotel. It’s clean and modern. The check-in was quick and efficient and the staff friendly and helpful. "

"We were very dissatisfied, the bar area was was dirty, I asked for a 125ml of wine but was given far more- dangerous! We had to ask for the table to be wiped, the menu was not suitable as we only wanted a light snack ahead of an early morning start. The room was dominated by a drinks fridge that every so often would make a shel noise and rubble, waking us up frequently. So it was not a relaxing night but a near sleepless one and given the cost it was aw"

"The staff are always superb as is the breakfast and evening meal. Rooms always spotless. We have stayed here on four different occasions, clearly because we are always very happy with The Cricketers "

"The staff were amazing, and the room was okay in terms of size and cleanliness. The only downside is how noisy some of the guests can be, but there's not much the staff can do about that. "

"For taxis, sometimes guests need to tell them to drive to reception area because some want you to meet at the bus stop to save them driving further to the service area. Some taxis wouldn’t pick the guests up because of this. "

"Breakfast was self serve up by the rooms but worked fine. No toiletries in the bathroom to shower in the morning . No TV but that did not bother me. Quite a nice change. Lovely pub with a roaring log fire and nice dinner menu in a very cute village Good parking on site "

"Staff were excellent. Breakfast lovely. Amazing land. Room warm and if you are in a room 200 plus it’s a lot of stairs with a suitcase."
