Such a lovely place with great staff and facilities. Will definitely be staying here again. There's a lovely huge garden and the hostel is right in the middle of a really nice park. There's a kitchen and they sell snacks and food for cheap. Thanks!

Lovely area - Harlow Park. The property has a beautiful well- kept garden. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere in the house was homely. Food and drink available to buy and prepare on site in the well- eqipped kitchen. Books and board games galore.

I've stayed here before. Friendly staff, great facilities. Super organized kitchen, dining area and a garden to enjoy the sunshine. Rooms and bed linen were clean. Bed was comfy. There is parking across the road. It's paid parking - but cheap !

The owners are lovely and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and clean. The building smelt a bit musty and i cleaned the sink , maybe when a few more people are staying a few more cleans to the shared bathrooms is needed. Otherwise a easy comfortable and convenient place to stay

Great hostel in the middle of a park! Close enough to train station too. My only complaint was mold in the bathrooms and in the windows in the room. Would not recommend for anyone with respiratory issues like asthma.

Nice and frindly place. The garden was very cosy. There was a lot of goods, you could buy, and they had games and other stuff you could spend your time playing with. The cleaning standard was not so good....

It's worth the money you pay!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. We arrived at 6 in the morning and woke them up because I got the address wrong and with a very friendly attitude they served me and waited for me to arrive. It has a lovely garden and is in a very good location. The accommodation was relatively clean but since the furniture is old it shows that it was not cleaned. We stayed for 2 nights and we are very pleased. We would love to stay longer.

Good Night

This hostel was excellent for a nights sleep. Its a short walk to & from the train station, and is within walking distance to food and even a nice local town pub that serves food as well right across the street. The bus station is also within walking distance and surrounded by food and shopping. This is a hostel, not a hotel, you shouldnt expect much besides a roof over your head and a bed to sleep in for rest. The room and shower area were small, simple and clean for a hostel and perfect for a quick nights sleep. The room was a little cold(not bad) but its because its heated with an older style electric heater that pushes little heat from it and into the room. The manager was very nice and will explain anything you need him to. Would stay again if ever needed it.

A hidden gem

Needed somewhere friendly to stay after suffering mis gendering and transphobia from staff at Stanstead airport The hostel is Lgbtqi + friendly and is close to both the town centre and beside the park and a lovely old pub in Harlow I booked the single room and liked it so much I extended my stay to 6 pm the next day til I got my Ryanair flight to Edinburgh Coffee was free and my bed was both comfy and snug Great internet connection as there is no television 📺 in the room and slept quietly and soundly The hostel has lovely gardens and is in a lovely old building Great hosts and a hidden gem

Je suis parti en angleterre pour des raisons familiales assez grave, ce lieu est vraiment reposant, un grand parc l'entoure, très agréable ! L’hôte, Richard, est très sympathique, je recommande fortement.
