"Amazingly cute little cabin with a stone fireplace. So cozy and welcoming. Small but well defined areas made it very comfortable. Loved personal little touches like handwritten notes on how to work the TV, cleanup and welcome. Amazingly sweet porch with a “Welcome Gnome”, lights and chairs to enjoy the beautiful outdoor area. We were there in the rain which added its own charm but in the summer I bet the fire pits are magical. Would definitely love to stay here again and for longer!!!!"

"The gentleman at the desk was nice. The room was clean. It’s kind of a worn property but nice. No elevator. I didn’t see a breakfast and wasn’t told that there was one."

"The reason I gave a four star rating for this hotel is because when you enter, although much of the hotel looks very nice, the carpeting in the hallway are disgusting. When I saw this, it made me really wonder what our room would look like. Thankfully, the room was very nice and had a good view. They need to upgrade their carpeting to keep the hotel I can’t really sharp. They do allow dogs and have certain rooms designated for dogs and others for people without dogs. You need to specify if you do not want a room with dogs."

"It was a great property with the only main downside of not having ramps for rolling in luggage at other doors other than the front. So….if you park close to your room entrance, you can’t roll the cart in. The cleaning crew was very attentive throughout the hotel."

"The space was perfect for our needs. The mini fridge in the room was very handy, and the shared kitchenette space was a nice touch. We really enjoyed the mix of vintage and new! The room was right out of central casting, but updated with a really nice shower and sink and TV availability. It was super close to the downtown of Saranac Lake, and we could walk to a nice hike."

"We had a wonderful stay at Mountain Brook Lodge! The location was beautiful and peaceful, and it was a great place for our family to relax after exploring the Lake Placid and Adirondack area. The lodge was clean, comfortable. Being surrounded by nature made the stay even more special. Our family had a great time, and the kids especially enjoyed the bonfire."
