"Room was ok, inn is looking a little tired."

"An inexpensive stop over but don’t stay more than one night. Room was noisy with traffic noise and the interior needs updating. Check in was easy and friendly and the location with walking distance to town was close. Bed was super hard and new pillows are a must but the bath towels were excellent. "

"A lovely hotel to stay. The rooms were clean, spacious and very cosy. Staff were amazing especially when our Gas fireplace was not working, they went out of there way to get it fix which at the end they just gave us another room with a fireplace working That’s what we call customer service."

"This place is ideally located across from the train station and close to shops, and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the shared bathroom cleaned daily. The bed had an electric blanket on it which would be great in winter, though I made use of a lighter blanket that was available instead as I am a hot sleeper. "Clean spacioous room. Bar fridge, microwave, tea and coffee station, large tv with foxtel and a king bed that was very comfortable. We didn't use the a/c. Spa bath and shower in one . Not suitable for anyone with a disability. "

"What a beautiful place to stay! Our room was comfortable (a little warm and no AC) and the staff was very helpful. We got great recommendations for dining and sightseeing from them. I highly recommend visiting the Katoomba area and Kurrara Guest House is a perfect place to stay. Good breakfast and very charming!"

"Beautiful hotel with a lot of history. I stayed in a room with the bathroom down the hall. I was surprised to find I still had my own bathroom, with a locked door, in what I would call a suite of bathrooms. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful."

"Good breakfast, internet was good but could be faster, room was okay, and bathroom was old with a leaky shower, although relatively clean."

"This is obviously a historical motel with beautiful views. No lifts so expect to carry bags up stairs. "

"My partner reckons this is the best motel we’ve ever stayed in! Plenty of power sockets and in the right places, heaps of storage and surfaces, big bathroom with space to leave three toiletries bags on the sink! Everything worked. Too cold to try the pool, too busy to try the tv or the restaurant. Very convenient for everything Lismore has to offer. "

"Nostalgia at its best. This is an authentic old inn, so if you are looking for the Marriott this is not for you. Excellent views of the mountains, all the staff were fantastic. Please do yourself a favor and spend some time with Alan, the piano player. Happy hour piano bar, doesn’t get much better. Oh yea, it’s close to all those trails too. "
