"Great little spot right in the heart of Mt. Dora. Very convenient and walking distance to everything. Would recommend but be aware some rooms are fairly small. Reserved a room that was supposed to sleep 4 for a girls weekend. We were in Amethyst (room 3). There was one full sized bed and one queen pull out. Both the bed and the pullout were extremely comfortable but when the pullout is open it takes up the majority of the sitting room. Spacious bathroom though. Just difficult to move around the room when the sofa bed is in use. But for the location it was worth it and I would stay again. Built pre-1900s the house is quaint, very private, clean, with parking on property, and an adorable courtyard area. "

"Heron Cay Lakeview was a great choice for us because it enabled us to walk to everything, including a concert venue, restaurants, shopping, and an amazing craft fair. The owner and her staff were super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was always top-notch. We would definitely stay there again."
