"Staff were brilliant I have had breakfast before and fantastic plenty to eat Bar. And outside area great lots of room Sad to say it all needs updating up stairs. All bathrooms need updating and decor and carpets need gone. Definitely the WiFi needs sorting out so you can get on it when you are in your room I wanted to chill out and watch Netflix but no internet Apart from that always a lovely stay and they accept dogs which is fab"

"Parking was good, reception staff very helpful, room & bathroom clean & bed comfortable. There were a couple of areas with room for improvement. The curtains had come off the rail near the closure on one side so it let the early morning light in. A small bottle of water in the room, particularly in the heat would have been appreciated. "Bridges B&B run by a lovely couple in a lovely house renting a lovely room had a lovely take away pizza delivered to the lovely local pub then back to my lovely room where I slept soundly in a lovely bed then a lovely shower and in the morning a lovely breakfast it was all just... lovely "

"The meals were excellent both for quality and price, staff very helpful. The bed was comfortable however the windows did not close entirely. It was quite warm so not a major problem for us but the windows needed refurbishment so they be opened or closed easily. The electric shower was very weak. These issues were relatively minor given the pluses of staff, food and comfortable beds"

"As many have said, this is a dated hotel with a very 1970s feel. We stayed on a Friday night as we had an early flight the next day, and the car park was very busy (as was the bar, so we ended up eating in a side room). The food was actually pretty good. The rooms were fairly basic but comfortable, and we felt safe the whole time. It was a very short walk to the airport the next morning (I asked if they did wake-up phone calls and got a firm 'no'). "The studio was very clean and it has everything you need, it is a quiet area with pleanty of parking 10 mim drive from the city centre. We visited for the rugby 20 min walk ftom Newcastle Redbulls. Lovely pub called the Windsor 15 min walk away. "

"Location, 10 minutes from the airport was excellent. Although very close to the A1, the hotel is situated within green and leafy gardens. Our room, third floor looking over the car park, had countryside views and we could hear very little road noise even with the window open. "A lovely light and airy room with a wonderful view. Comfortable bed and plenty of clean towels. Staff were most welcoming and very helpful. Wonderful selection of goodies for breakfast. Fresh fruit every morning alongside a cooked breakfast and timings for breakfast most accommodating."

"When we arrived we were told our room was no longer available due to a 'maintenance issue' so had to book somewhere else at the last minute. The lady that we spoke to was nice and did say they had tried to contact us during the day about the situation. However, checking the message we found in Expedia, it was only sent an hour before we arrived late afternoon. Not helpful when you are driving long distance. Might be a one off but, obviously, have to score the hotel low in this instance."
