"The inn is in a good place for a base, breakfast was ok but a healthier option would be a nice change. Rooms are fine but avoid room 1 as it backs onto female toilets of the bar. and you can hear the door banging too and the aircon quite loudly in the room ..also the cleaners at 5:30 ….but overall it’s a convenient place to stay and explore the coast"
"Love are stay. Very welcoming. Staff were great. Room clean but could do with a paint job as paint was flaking. Plenty of choice for tea and coffee. For the room being above a pub it was very quiet. Breakfast good"
"Clean room. Helpful staff. Nice breakfast options. Disc parking zone so limited to 1 hour between 9am and 5pm otherwise free. Good location. No WiFi (didn’t work)"
"We stayed 2 nights and wish it had been more! Our room was lovely. The breakfast was delicious. The staff friendly and very welcoming. It was easy enough to park in the car park square of Warkworth and we used local bus to travel into Alnwick (unfortunately the wait back for bus on bank holiday Monday was long as the one we waited for didnt arrive-think it got cancelled)Would suggest using an app for the bus if you use them as timings did not seem to be reliable. We also went into Morpeth which had some good shops. Amble is a good place to walk down to if you like a walk (and can is on bus route) we saw herons and lots of other birds on the walk there even catching a heron catch his dinner."
"I would have given this place a much higher rating but they put us in a room directly above the bar and the walls are not well insulated. So the noise from the people in the bar was so loud that we could hear everything they said. This went on until the bar closed at midnight. Then it was quiet. If you stay here make sure you get a room away from the bar. It was terrible."
"Fairfield house was well situated close to Warkworth and the beach. The hosts were excellent, very attentive with lovely little touches like freshly made cakes left each day and nothing was too much trouble. Fabulous breakfasts. Highly recommend."
