We really enjoyed the proximity of the hotel to the train station and to many shops/stores in Hakodate."

"Hakadote is different from everywhere else we visited in Japan. The hotel is on the waterfront, near to shops and restaurants. While in Japan we’ve stayed at many Dormy hotels. All Dormy hotels have onsen. This hotel is part of their premium series, The style of the rooms is vintage, Our room included a lovely old-style coffee grinder, fresh beans and heritage China. The buffet breakfast at the hotel is extraordinary. Five stars."
