"We had a pleasant two-nights stay at Prealpina Hotel, we got a room in the 4th floor and enjoyed the amazing view from its balcony! The beautiful lake Geneve, the alps and views of the towns are breathtaking! Hotel has 2 elevators, our room was comfortable, it had a great and clean shower, it has strong heater, the room was always comfortably warm, it included a fan (so no AC) which we didn’t need. We added paid breakfast and it was pretty good, they have a covered terrace where one can enjoy the views during breakfast, it had a good variety of breads, cereal, cheeses, hot buffet style. The hotel has ample parking, we used the train to get there, and a taxi from the station, but it is only a 8-10 minutes walk from the station, they gave us a transportation card that cover costs to visit nearby locations (covering Lausanne to Montreux) we used it to visit Vevey. The hotel’s location is perfect to visit the Lavaux vineyards, a UNESCO world heritage site. The staff was friendly and very helpful, we really enjoyed our short stay!"
