"If you're looking for glamour, this isn't the place for you. If you are a seasoned traveler looking for a convenient and safe place to rest before your next adventure, this place is it. This was the perfect place to rest before our cruise. The pizza ๐ place around the block is superb with a great selection of beer and wine. This place was in a great location to go off exploring the neighborhood and finding hidden beach and walking paths โบ๏ธ The hotel is old and the ac works as good as it can in Europe ๐. Overall, the owners were very nice and offered many suggestions for dinner. I would definitely stay again for the price."

"The hotel is very well located on the main road directly across from the boardwalk along the water. You can walk to the train station, many restaurants and the grocery store. There is no 'free' water station in the hotel lobby. The hotel staff at check in spoke perfect English and were very professional and helpful. We arrived earlier than check in so they held our luggage in a locked room. We booked 2 sea view rooms; they were clean and spacious. The hotel itself could so with some general maintenance to fix wear to walls and doors etc. We had large balconies facing the sea side however, the patio furniture was not in good shape and didn't leave you wanting to enjoy the space outside. The AC worked well. There were large closets with lots of space. The breakfast buffet was really good with lots of choices including pastries, meat, cheese, scrambled eggs, yogurt, fruit, cereal, coffee and juice. We stayed pre-cruise for 2 nights. They can organize paid shuttles to the cruise terminal for you. We walked to the Largo Della Pacce main cruise shuttle hub and boarded the free Princess shuttle to the terminal from there. All in all, good value for money at a well located hotel with kind and helpful staff."

"Our stay at il Giardinetto was on a Saturday for a cruise that left the next day. It was very conveniently located near many restaurants and a 15 min walk to the port entrance. Lorenzo was a fabulous host. Luckily he caught a discrepancy in Google maps that would have led us into a restricted area of the port. Super safe and bustling area."
