If you want to be immersed in Italy instead of being surrounded by tourists in Rome. It is perfectly placed to utilise the trains and enjoy all he hot tourist areas, while still enjoying Italy at it's core.

Nice hotel with history behind it. Convenient location between Rome and Civitavecchia cruise ship port for cruisers wanting to spend couple days in Rome before trip. Beach right across street. Very nice staff. We stayed before and after our cruise, was a delightful area.

this is a cool old hotel... we had a balcony looking out over the black sand beach and could hear the surf all night... it was gorgeous and an easy walk from the train station... also an easy walk to innumerable restaurants and pizza places...

The property was very nice and convenient to the beach and other areas for night life - if you're into that. The night clerk didn't speak much English, so there was a little challenge getting checked in, but we were able to manage. Everyone was very kind and helpful. They even let us store our bags for a few hours after check out.

This hotel was good for its price. Two bad things and a lot of good. Bad things: 1) there is a ZTL at the end of the street right where hotel is sitting (arguably within the ZTL) DO NOT DRIVE ON THIS YOU WILL BE TICKETED LATER BY MAIL. 2) the beds were extremely uncomfortable- they are old spring mattresses and honestly difficult to sleep on without pain. Good: the hotel was reasonably clean and in an area I felt was safe. It’s convenient to the train to Roma and the staff were all excellent. Everyone was extremely nice and the restaurant food was really good. It’s right on a black sand beach so we were able to walk that in the evenings which was nice.

Beautiful property. Cleaning was lacking. Found a butt print on the mirror, a hair in the bed and a bug (not bed bug) in the sheet. The sheets looked clean and we checked thoroughly for bed bugs but it really wasn't that bad. It was the nicest one on the beach. Had a private beach and some better room options we should have chosen for the beautiful view. Restaurant staff was very kind.

Great place on the beach when visiting necropolis

This hotel was charming. Everything, including the ac, worked great. Getting to the Etruscan sites was easy by taxi, not so much by public transit.

This is nice hotel with a perfect location. Walking distance to train station across the street from the beach. The staff was very helpful and did a wonderful job. The hotel itself could use a remodel. The air conditioner is controlled at the front desk so room was a bit hot.

Wir haben das Hotel gebucht um von dort aus die Region zu erkunden. Wir hatten einen tollen Ausblick auf das Meer. Das Hotel mag alt sein aber es ist sauber und ordentlich.

Séjour de 4 jours / 3 nuits ; accueil agréable ; chambre avec balcon , avec vue vers la Mer Méditerranée , comme je l'avais demandée ; chambre propre , salle de bain petite , mais fonctionnelle ; attention , malgré la chaleur de dehors , l'air conditionné ne fonctionnait pas ; il y avait uniquement le ventilateur du plafond ; à ma demande , on m'a répondu que la climatisation fonctionne uniquement après le 01 juin ; effectivement , le 01 juin on m'a donné la télécommande de la clim et elle a commencé à fonctionner ; petit-déjeuner très sommaire : il y a des gâteaux et des croissants , mais peu de gruyère et de jambon , fréquemment vers 09:30 il n'y en avait plus et la dame en charge de réapprovisionner ne le faisait pas , donc mon estomac est resté assez vide après chaque petit-déjeuner ; on peut quand même demander un café ou un chocolat chaud , mais attention , ils ne sont pas sucrés , donc il faut ajouter un sachet de sucre , s'il y en a sur la table ; les voyageurs des autres chambres ont été assez bruyants et ont fréquemment frappé les portes ; le mobilier des couloirs est intéressant , car ancien et sa présence est réussie ; attention pour le service de chambre , il n'y a pas de possibilité de bloquer les serrures , ni d'afficher un carton avec NE PAS DERANGER , donc on peut se retrouver avec la femme de ménage dans la chambre ...

Ho prenotato questa struttura per una notte sola, perché il giorno dopo mi dovevo sposare, e abitando lontano, avevo bisogno di essere già sul posto il giorno del matrimonio. Struttura datata ma in un posto strategico, davanti al mare e vicino al clou dei ristoranti. vista mare spettacolare
