"Took my girlfriend their to propose and the staff were super helpful in locating the perfect romantic spot and getting me directions. They were also so kind during our dinner and breakfast service. The rooms were super clean with great view, and the hotel had great amenities, as well as being conveniently located near shops and the train station."

"We didn't expect the quality that we received when we booked at the Monte Rosa! We were so pleased- we love to stay in historic places & often they can be less than updated. We had asked for a room with a view of the Matterhorn, not realizing that we booked a suite. And it was worth every penny. Did plenty of hiking all day in the mountains & came back to a very comfortable room with plenty of amenities ( 2 full bathrooms, living area, view of Matterhorn, robes, food & drink treats, and absolutely exceptional staff attention. The restaurant was great, we loved sitting outside. We were there during the heat & kept the windows all open at night to cool things down (no AC in Zermatt). Breakfast was also just spectacular. We'd definitely come again."

"We were upgraded to the Porta Cervino hotel. The staff and service were excellent They went the extra mile to make guests welcome and comfortable. I have everything good to say about the staff service and the hotel amenities. From Thomas at the reception to the General Manager Yannic. Only wish they had air conditioning though it was cool at night do we opened the windows in the evening for a bit. Also, we visited during the peak of the heat wave in Europe. I would definitely stay again at Porta Cervino."
