"Our stay was perfect as a morning launching pad and evening landing pad for our San Ignacio adventures. The staff were very kind and friendly, the breakfast buffet was excellent, and the hammock on the deck of our cabana was highly utilized at the end of our long days. The hotel was a short walk from the town of San Ignacio where we were able to get delicious food from vendors, and right next door to Cahal Pech Archeological Reserve. "

"The rooms were clean, except we did find a scorpion on the wall in one of our rooms and we disposed of it directly. The AC's worked well and kept the rooms cool. The door to the bathroom in one of our rooms was out of alignment and would not latch closed. The pool was nice and the bar area around the pool was also a great place to relax. The kitchen and serving staff were outstanding! The breakfast burritos were ready for us for an early morning departure and were yummy. Coffee was also excellent. The grounds were well kept and parking was not an issue. It would have been helpful to know that the water in the rooms was not potable. However they did offer free refills of your own water bottle or container. WiFi worked ok too."

"This property is absolutely excellent. The staff are friendly and supportive, every amenity has been thought of and the grounds are beautiful. An amazing stay that I’d recommend highly to anyone. "

"We had hoped this place would be more like a jungle lodge but it really was more of a rural neighborhood house on the main thoroughfare. The family cabin seemed a lot more like a blah Airbnb. Wasn't too clean but wasn't disgustingly dirty. Just didn't feel like it was worth the amount we paid or really worth it at all. You could not walk to monkey falls from there. To go anywhere you would need a car, which we had, fortunately. The front door didn't have any bolt. And the A/C only worked in the rooms leaving the shared living space blazing hot even with trying to flood the living space with air from the rooms. The owner was super nice but this place just wasn't worth it. We stayed in a dumpy cabin at another place in town that turned out to be a better fit for us than this. "

"The photos online truly do not do this place justice. We had a wonderful stay here and made use of the pool. The staff went above and beyond helping us with a lost luggage situation. The restaurant had great breakfast"

"A family run jungle paradise close to many activities. The birds in the area are definitely the main highlight to this property and the staff know it. In fact it is obvious that they did not overdevelop this land to keep the local wildlife happy and close by. This location is a tranquil spot to use as a home base to explore the Cayo District and the property will offer activities using local, knowledgeable guides."
