"The most friendly, welcoming and helpful staff! Amazing breakfasts and drinks from the restaurant, clean comfortable room - refreshing pool - beautiful grounds and wildlife to be seen! What a wonderful base for exploring the area! The location is perfect (walkable to downtown ~20-30 mins) steep walk back but manageable or take a taxi. 30 mins from the Guatemala border, 2mins from Cahal Pech ATM caves with Maya Walk was an easy pick up and drop off. Breakfast was easily pre-ordered (and packed to go if needed) for our early start days making life easier! Highly recommend this place. "

"The room was very spacious and clean with comfortable beds. Ceiling fan and AC were a huge plus for the warmer nights. Loved the rooftop for hanging out and having breakfast. They even had clotheslines to help dry shoes and clothes after excursions. It is noisy at night but that is San Ignacio in general, not the hotel’s fault. Great location for walking to meals and excursions. Would definitely stay here again! "

"10/10 experience! Not only was the resort beautiful the staff were attentive and friendly. Any need I had they went above and beyond to fulfill. The resort also was a 8 min drive from downtown San Ignacio which was very convenient. My cousin and I left sad to leave such a paradise. Highly recommend and hope to come back in the future! "

"We had a wonderful stay at San Ignacio Resort Hotel. The property is a charming boutique hotel with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, always going out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The rooms were beautiful, the grounds were peaceful, and the entire experience felt personal and relaxed. Highly recommend for anyone visiting San Ignacio!"

"Had a fabulous stay at Cassia Hill. Had a duplex style studio overlooking the gorgeously cared for grounds (#2). The room was surrounded by huge windows to enjoy the lush trees and plants from inside. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful both before and during my stay. Shout out to Aby who was impressively attentive and efficient! The room was generously equipped, clean and beautiful. The property sprawls and offers a small pool with a few lounge chairs, and a large restaurant with bar and great service (I had 2 dinners here and both were great). Just outside of town so quiet aside from traffic on the nearby highway, close to supermarkets, but would recommend a car for getting around."

"I highly recommend Max Rooms. The staff is very kind, communicative and attentive- they really care about your experience! The house keeping staff keep the premises very clean. I was especially impressed with the freshness if the linens and the comfortable bedding. If there were any issues, it was easy to get in touch with the owner through WhatsApp. Both of the restaurants downstairs are delicious- Caris and Katherine are both sweet and delightful. If I ever return to the area, I will definitely stay here again. "
