"I booked this hotel for a short stay. Then I became ill and was in the hospital for 7 nights and was not well enough to travel to this hotel. I didn't realize this was a nonrefundable booking. When I realized that it was nonrefundable, and I was/am still sick, it just was not important to me to cancel the booking, so I did not."
