"This is a great location if you’re going to an away game at Ipswich Town Football club. The hotel is great - pretty similar to a Hampton by Hilton in format and style. It’s just over the Bobby Robson bridge so an easy walk to the ground or the town and a slightly longer walk along the tow path to the Marina area. Staff are excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Food is good. I ate there for an evening meal and it was freshly cooked and tasty. On site parking so we left the car there for the match...

"Perfect stay Accommodation was very clean and a good size room. We also bought our dog with us and a dog bed, towel and bowl with a treat for him was provided in our room which was a lovely touch to our stay. We had a lovely evening meal also one of the best we have had in a long time and lots of choice for a quality breakfast. We will be returning as from the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and very professional and helped make our stay perfect."

"Heating in the initial room was not able to be turned on. No equivalent room was available. I was told I would have to pay for an upgrade or stay in a freezing cold room. "Fan went off every 20 seconds during the night, wasn’t aircon as that was switched off so not sure what it was but kept me awake all night. Door didn’t lock properly when vacating the room. Tried about ten times. Eventually got it to lock, but when I was inside the room had to put a chair against the door as I was unsure if it was locked from outside as I was a lone female traveller. Normally stay here for work but won’t be staying again. "

"Great friendly staff, nice touch for the kids... they were given a voucher ea to to choose beteen, a cold drink, a hot choc with marshmallowsor an ice-cream from the bar. Slso free fizzy drinks, crisps and kitkats in the mini-fridge in tge room were nice touches. The only downer for the hotel as a whole was that there was no air-conditioning in the bedroom or the bar area and so the environment was fairly hot and stuffy."
