"We had an amazing stay at Beaches. The grounds and house are impeccable, with lovely interiors. There are so many thoughtful details throughout the property, and Buzz and Jo were responsive, kind, and personable. The area is close enough to walk to the main part of town, but we loved the quiet and calmer street, as well as the dining options. We will be back!"

"Great B&B run by a lovely couple, perfect for an overnight stay. Delicious, generous breakfast. We did experience a little noise from the road, but ear plugs were provided & it didn't impact on our stay. Would definitely recommend and return if we were in the area. "

"Hotel well positioned on sea front, good choice of food and well stocked bar. All staff were excellent. Room a reasonable size with good size bathroom. Only one detraction was the room was oh so hot! Admittedly it was an etremely hot couple of days."

"Perfect for an over night stay. Friendly, helpful staff. Important things very clean, though corners don't stand up to a close inspection. I had a lovely quiet room at the back - a free upgrade from that booked. Nice breakfast offering. Easy parking, but chargeable on road outside."

"Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and tidy. Thankfully there was a large fan in the room, as the temperature was very hot re weather. Breakfast was ok I would have preferred a walk in show, as the bath was not easy to climb into as quite high. "

"Lovely very spacious bedroom & bathroom beautifully decorated & with nice extra touches. Comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent & all the staff were friendly & efficient. Would definitely stay again. "

Lovely room with comfortable bed, good food to, had a surf and turf which came with a lobster bisque saurce which was exceptional and something I will look for again. A nice touch I thought were the magnetic contactless charging points either side of the bed which were unexpected 10/10 for that."

"Unique gorgeous seaside English hotel. Lovely staff very helpful,friendly and hard workers. The property is well maintained, clean and just has a lovely vibe to it. Comfortable bed, modern bathroom We absolutely loved staying here and so did our nieces."

"Beautiful hotel. We were greeted by a glass of prosecco whilst we checked in. We had a standard room which was more than adequate in size and it has the softest bed and linen I think I have ever stayed in, the room had a balcony looking out over part of the golf course. We played golf and used the spa after which is intimate in size but well worth using. We ate in both restaurants and had breakfast on the terrace both mornings. "Has everything you need for a pleasant stay in Southend. The restaurant is also very good too and they have several different room types. Right by the sea. Will come back for sure. "

"A one night stay for us, before catching an early flight from Southend Airport, lovely attentive staff throughout the hotel. We dined in the restaurant which has great views over the airport, the food was equally great. A veey pleasurable but short stay."

"We enjoyed our stay and it was very reasonably priced for a Saturday night. However, there was red stains all over the carpet in the room and there was one pillow that stank of cigarettes, which is obviously disgusting. We slept ok though and it was quiet."
