"We had a lovely spacious room which included a small sofa, so it was comfortable to return to in the evening and watch tv. The downside was the room was at the top of the building up two flights of stairs, so not good for people with limited mobility or heavy bags. The ensuite was very small but the shower was powerful and the towels of good quality. Just a 10 minute walk to centre of Harrogate and restaurants."

"Overall everything was good, our only issue was after being there for a few days we noticed the toaster was full of crumbs, obviously not been emptied for quite some time, and the oven tray had not been cleaned after it had been used. "A beautiful location, staying within an actual castle grounds. The breakfast was amazing and catered for myself and my partner who is vegetarian. All members of staff were really friendly including the cat that greeted me as I went for breakfast. The only negative was how loud the room above was throughout the 2 night stay, but we still slept well and had a great time."

"This was a very nice comfortable place. We had a little trouble finding it. Was easy to check in and out of. The only suggestion I would make was to put the exterior patio lights on a timer so that they turn off at night— if it’s hot and you have the window open then you have all the light from the patio. But it was very clean and comfortable."

"Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Good parking with EV charging. Bedroom was a really good size with lovely old furniture with plenty of drawer and hanging space - but perhaps it looked as though it could do with more furniture to fill some of the spaces. The only downside was having to go outside to get to the restaurant - probably wouldn't have even thought about it in hot weather but it wasn't ideal in the wind and rain. We stayed while the Christmas Fayre was on which was a bonus."
