"Overall everything was good, our only issue was after being there for a few days we noticed the toaster was full of crumbs, obviously not been emptied for quite some time, and the oven tray had not been cleaned after it had been used. "Great location, so close to town centre, fantastic host, George couldn’t do enough for us. Lovely room overlooking the quiet cobblestone one way street in view of the cathedral. "Not great for EV drivers as when you take the car to charge, you cannot return to the hotel to park. And the cleanliness in the bathroom prevented me from bathing my 3 year old."

"Lovely big bedroom and the bed was super comfortable. Leanne and her team were amazing, they went over and above for us. Food was delicious and big portions. Would highly recommend. We will be back. "

"While a 10-15 minute walk from downtown, the scenery and location were gorgeous and quaint. The staff, the room, the breakfast, and the stay were just what we were looking for. We took the train to Durham, dropped our packs off at the inn, and spent the rest of the day walking around town and along the river. "

"We chose the hotel at random, knowing it was central and had on site parking. In fact it was the perfect choice for exploring the city. Close to all the historic sites, and easy walking to restaurants and pubs. The staff were very friendly and efficient - which made the stay even better."

"Stayed here for 2 nights in a balcony room, lovely view of the river & very nice that we could sit outside. We had gone for my partners birthday & a lovely bottle of fizz was left for us to enjoy. Room very spacious & very clean, very comfy bed. Would definitely recommend & would definitely stay again. "

"We booked this as a large group and it didn't disappoint. The apartments were well laid out with ample space in the living room areas. There was great cleanliness throughout and areas stayed at a nice temperature. The accomodation was really quiet at night and the key system although awkward at first was easier than keys.
