The rooms are spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable. The excellent breakfast will set you up for whatever the day ahead holds. We have stayed before and will definitely be returning. "

We received a lovely welcome of scones and tea on arrival - which was very much appreciated after a difficult visit to a care home. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. "We are local to the hotel and stayed here for a few nights whilst some work was done on our home. We pop in frequently for breakfast anyway as it’s excellent value and very customisable, but found the room & service to be very good as well!"

"The lady who checked me in was excellent, very courteous and helpful. Amenities were very good, and room was clean. Bed was comfortable, my pillow was too soft, but that is a personal observation and choice. Overall an excellent choice!!"

"Decent property for a single night stay with a family. Hard to find in the dark and no parking, though on-street parking and car parks are available locally. Three bedrooms with a small kitchen and wet room. Nowhere specific to eat as a family but small tables in each room were fine. Had to phone on the day to get the key code. This could be made more obvious - or the owner could communicate more proactively. "
