"The room was awful. To start, light could be seen through the side and underneath the door. Any size insect could havw crawled in. The floor boards had huge gaps between them. The chair had a huge rip and stain on the cushion. The bed was like sleeping on a stone slab and we were very itchy and had several bug bites. The walls had holes in them. Some holes were filled and not sanded or painted. Some weren't filled at all. I refused to take a shower or bath because there were holes and cracks where the shower surround met the tub. "Shower floor was dirty, shoe marks visible; mattress had multiple stains along the edges and fitted sheet didn’t cover the whole mattress. We were in the hotel for about 15 hours and didn’t need to use the shower or amenities so it was fine for us. A clean shower would have prompted a 5 star review. "

Everyone is always friendly and welcoming at the front counter, especially Shannon. She goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service. This will always be my go-to. "

"Booked a room with two queen beds but the room had two full beds. Fitness center was closed and locked. Breakfast was lacking, barely any food at 8:00am till 10:00am. Internet was slow. Cleaning staff kept trying to get us to leave before check out. "

"We had a clean, comfortable, quiet, and very large room (with two bathrooms) during our stay at the South Ridge Inn. While the hotel itself is in reasonably good physical condition, there are many visible signs of wear and tear, including scuff marks, some chipped and peeling paint, and rust on the metal tissue dispensers in the bathrooms. Many of the machines in the breakfast are are partly or completely disabled."

"I recently stayed at the Sonesta ES Suites in North Olmsted (Westlake area) and had a solid, functional experience. While there were a few minor letdowns, the overall stay served its purpose well. The Highlights Convenient Location: The biggest draw for me was the location. It was perfectly situated for everywhere I needed to go during my time in Ohio, making my daily commute stress-free. Friendly Service: The staff throughout the hotel were consistently pleasant and helpful. A friendly face at the front desk always makes a difference. Areas for Improvement In-Room Amenities: I wasn’t particularly fond of the coffee provided in the room. If you’re a caffeine enthusiast, you might want to bring your own or plan a stop at a local cafe. The Marketplace: The "cupboard" or marketplace area was a bit of a disappointment. It remained nearly empty and felt pretty bland throughout my entire stay, so don't count on it for a wide variety of snacks or essentials. Final Verdict Despite the small gripes with the coffee and the marketplace selection, it wasn't a terrible stay by any means. Given the convenience and the great service from the team, I would likely stay here again next time I'm in the area."
