We booked this hotel because of its 9+ “wonderful” Expedia rating. No one was at the front desk to greet us despite them sending their shuttle to pick us up at the airport. A woman walked behind the desk. I said, “hello.” She ignored me & went into a back room. A few minutes later she came back with another woman who said, “sorry, I had to finish a phone call.” Yet – the woman who ignored me 1st is the one who checked us in. Our room was damp, smelled terrible. The floors/baseboards were filthy. A spider & web in the bathroom! They have only 3 small wire baskets for your clothes. The blow dryer didn’t work. The showerhead was awful. My towel had a big hole in it. There was no conditioner. Breakfast was gross. The pool water was brown – I don’t know who would swim in that water. They only clean rooms every other day – but we still had to ask them to clean and that didn’t include making the bed. I didn’t complain because I felt it was Expedia’s fault we were there – not the hotel’s. I was there to care for my mom who just had a terminal diagnosis & was too upset and had NO time to deal with any of this during my stay. The morning we checked out, I called the front desk because when they “cleaned” they didn’t replace coffee. She said, “I’ll have housekeeping bring coffee up when they arrive. That should be in an HOUR OR 2.” No one was behind the desk to check us out. We left the keys on the counter. Don’t stay here. There are other hotels nearby cheaper yet similar in quality.
