"My room was clean but it was old .the curtains in the rooms had holes in it. The room had a wet smell. The bed was comfortable. The hotel was clean it's just old and need updating. No microwave in the room you have to ask for it if they have it available. Notice water damage on the ceiling in the room. The pool was cloudy and looked old I didn't get in it I just looked at it. The staff was helpful. I did not eat at the hotel I was able to find more affordable food. I will not stay again."

"I have never been stated such as bad hotel in my life….. overall is very very bad experience with this hotel. I have booked 2 non smoking rooms and hotel provided me on smoking room instead and it was worse than any other property. Guests shouldn’t choose this hotel."

"The photos of this property lead you to believe that it's nice, updated, and well maintained. This hotel is beyond filthy, smells terrible, and most of the staff were rude. "If an IKEA opened a beach motel it would look like the Surfside! Room was bare, cool and clean. The entire place (rooms and common areas) have the same flooring that was sticky no matter where you walk. If they un-sticky the floors this place is a cute little 10/10. The rest of it was really clean. People were really friendly, location is great."

"Love the pool is always amazing. The hot tub could’ve been changed out more often.
They did a really good job with the breakfast amazing. I’d recommend the stock more hot cocoa, and they clean only when customers are not getting food.

"The room was very spacious and appeared clean. However, when we pulled back the bed covers, the sheets were grossly soiled and obviously had not been changed. The front desk staff seemed unconcerned and offered us a clean set of sheets to change ourselves, but made no apology or offer to change rooms.
