"This place was an incredible find. Within walking distance of the Taj Mahal and easy access to Tuk Tuk’s and drivers. The staff was incredibly gracious and accommodating allowing us to lounge on the rooftop terrace before and after our stay while waiting for our train. The food was great and I highly recommend the home cooked dinner with guests. Great food and great conversation with people from around the world. We will definitely be staying here next time we happen in Agra."

"This is an excellent hotel in the middle of origional cairo. Buildings in this area are quite old and sometimes nasty. This is not the case here. The building was remodelled nicely, and the facilities are quite good. One has to manage expectations here because this is a historic area of the city and the buildings typically lack what you might expect in newely built hotels. "Really loved this hotel - it is absolutely charming and the staff are so nice! We got a very nice room - with jacuzzi tub which was just the ticket after five hours at the GEM. It is on the upper floors (reception at 6th flr) of a building so somewhat muffles the street noise. And yes, there is an elevator. Highly recommend. "

"Isis Hotel 2 is a very good option for those who want a simple but secure and centrally located hotel. All rooms are on the top floors of a high rise building so views are spectacular of the Nile and Cairo. Maybe I got lucky but the view alone was worth the price! The room was old and could use renovation but it was clean and quiet from the inside. I prefer having natural air so I had my window opened which let in a lot of the busy traffic below. "I stay in hotels at least 100 days a year. I know quickly if a hotel is one I will return to. This is one and I have returned to it for a second Cairo trip this year. The staff is fantastic and does not pressure you to take any tours with them. Everything is great. The area is safe and very close to Midan Talaat Harb but not on it (thankfully). It is quiet, there is an easy walk from the street. "

"The staff was amazing. The front desk was open 24 hours with someone available to accommodate your concerns. Very knowledgeable and helpful navigating the city. Breakfast was lovely.
