"This is an excellent hotel in the middle of origional cairo. Buildings in this area are quite old and sometimes nasty. This is not the case here. The building was remodelled nicely, and the facilities are quite good. One has to manage expectations here because this is a historic area of the city and the buildings typically lack what you might expect in newely built hotels. "Isis Hotel 2 is a very good option for those who want a simple but secure and centrally located hotel. All rooms are on the top floors of a high rise building so views are spectacular of the Nile and Cairo. Maybe I got lucky but the view alone was worth the price! The room was old and could use renovation but it was clean and quiet from the inside. I prefer having natural air so I had my window opened which let in a lot of the busy traffic below. The room does have A/C and TV but I didn't use...

"I had booked a 3-night stay for my whole family (6 people) at Cairo Capital Hotel. Upon arrival, we found out that the hotel was under renovation.
