"We had a beautiful, clean room with a very comfortable bed. The grounds were beautiful and the hosts had a lot of little extras to make your stay even more special. Such as a frozen lemonade stand on the porch. We were very happy with our stay."

"We were greeted by host as soon as well drove in. The place was clean, smelled clean. I wish we had more time to explore the grounds. Very close to Foxwoods. The bed was great, comfy. Definitely will be back."

"This is a very lovely property located just beyond town. It's quiet and inviting. The property is beautifully maintained. The rooms are charming, with many antiques and decorations creating a very homey and fun atmosphere. The staff is very welcoming and eager to make the stay extremely pleasant. Breakfast is included and coffee and snacks are available 24/7. Our stay exceeded our expectations and will be a place to stay for future visits to the area."

"It was a great stay. It was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and will certainly not be our last now with such a great experience we had at the House of 1833. Evan was an exceptional host/chef. He gave us a tour of the home and the history. The breakfast in the morning was incredible from the homemade apple cranberry muffin to the Greek Italian Mac & Cheese Spinach Souffle. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet, yet close to town place to stay. "

"What a beautiful, quiet, peaceful place to stay, even in the dead of winter. The home itself is modern, welcoming, bright, everything you could dream of. The hosts are very active and successful artists who all but gave us a private master class in how their work is imagined and created. I don’t know when we’ve had a more delightful weekend. The walks to the beach were lovely, too. "

"We enjoyed an amazing wine weekend at Vine and Sand. Beautiful home and relaxing, enjoyable stay. Great location for visiting vineyards as well as the villages of Southold and Greenport. "

"Was very brief overnight stay during a business conference. Very clean, nice fluffy towels, cute room. Due to early checkout, I was not able to experience the breakfast, so the staff gave me a nice little take out package. "

"The Farmhouse is absolutely gorgeous-inside and out! Food and service were excellent. Back yard with chickens and alpacas was a delight. Anne, our hostess, was welcoming and very down to earth. Our stay was a pleasure!"
