"We were at the Holiday Inn Express in Poughkeepsie probably for the last time attending our daughter's graduation. The location was terrific to come and go to Vassar and the restaurants and stores along route 9. Plenty of parking. The rooms were comfortable and ready. The breakfast is done as well as the type of hotel can do - there was even some variety between the mornings."

"Only stayed for one night but will definitely stay again when it’s time for college move in. Room was spacious and very clean. Comfortable beds and price was reasonable!"

"Center courtyard had not been mowed or picked up while we were there. But it was a packed weekend. Graduations and weddings. Everything else was too notch!"

"I left an article of clothing behind, hanging on the door. When I in packed and discovered it,; I called immediately. They said nothing was in the room or in the lost and found and basic said I was wrong that I never left it. My person moved it from the chair to the wardrobe door so when I packed up I missed it. Needless to say the cleaning person kept it for herself or gave it to someone else. Very disappointing. I have not been able to find a replacement for the garment."

"A gem of a place. Clean and well maintained. The desk clerk provided a very good suggestion for dinner which was close but we did not know about. Breakfast was better than at most hotels. We would gladly stay there again."

"The breakfast was awful. There were only waffles and only apple juice no other choice . The only fruit was apples."

"200 dollar room and the hallways smelled like weed. At exactly 11:03 someone was knocking on the door hustling us to check out, F U Parking lot had huge potholes and debris all over the place.Interior needs an upgrade as it looks firmly in backrooms 1993.Look elsewhere to get ripped of for substandard "Quality""

"This is actually a beautiful building. The rooms of especially the bathrooms that they are advertising with Jacuzzi tubs are extremely overdue for renovation. There is paint and tile chipping all over the place in the bathroom and Jacuzzi tub. The sheets had those are yellow stains on them if you know what I’m talking about it looks good from the outside. It’s a different world on the inside."

"The room was freezing cold for about a half hour when we got there but the heater worked well and eventually it warmed up. Room was large and clean. Parking was right in front of room. Wish the room had a full length mirror. People travel when they have an event to go to and we like to see how we look. The bathroom mirror sort of tilts down for a bit of an outfit check but a full length would have been great. Bed was comfortable and bedding was really nice! Guy who runs the place was very nice!...

"The maids on check out day stayed in the hall talk starting like 8:00am waiting for people to leave so I didn’t get to sleep in."
