Mid-Atlantic Hotels with Hot Tubs

"This is a beautiful hotel, however we did not get the waterfront room we reserved and paid for. The biggest let down was the staff. All of the staff in the nice restaurants were amazing! The rest of the staff couldn’t be bothered with our needs. We met a housekeeper in the hallway and asked for our room to be cleaned and were told “we’re only cleaning checkouts today”. I’ve never heard of such a thing. So I said, “well, we’re out of facial tissue. Can we get a box?” She says “I don’t have any with me”. Not, let me call down and have some sent up or let me go get some for you. Just nope. The people in the pool area where also not very accommodating at all!"

"The bottom floor where the front desk and valet parking are had a strong smell of sewage. I booked two identical rooms and called multiple times to request adjoining. They wouldn't guarantee it. When we checked in, they told us they couldn't give us adjoining rooms but that were in the same hallway. When the rooms were finally ready (5 pm, website quotes 4pm), the rooms were nowhere near each other. The rooms were old, stained curtains and chairs, smelled like smoke. I called the front desk and they sent me to a call center supervisor who said they couldn't help me. Between gambling, dinner reservations, drinks, and cover charges, we spent a lot of money on a single night. The Quarter is cool and Carmine's food was yummy. We had fun dancing at Kiss Kiss but the room and the front desk team were terrible."
