"It was short walk from the train station and like 50 minutes from London. The restaurant in the hotel is pretty good and the bus to colchester city center is pretty good. The hotel was clean and check out was pretty easy as well."

The hotel clearly recognises the problem because it leaves earplugs, which are ineffective, by the bedside. "Extremely uncomfortable sleep - tiny double bed for 2 people and there was an old creaky, loud fan and the room was unbearably hot even with the fan on all night and windows open. Give people a bigger bed and buy new modern quiet fans!"

"Dining / Breakfast room is not ideal for those with limited mobility as breakfast is served on multiple levels"
